  1. Number 1: Branch & Claw

    Buy this first

    Adds: Two new Spirits, a new Adversary (France), and Event cards added to the Invader phase. Also new tokens.

    Fixes: Makes the island feel more alive and less predictable.

    Small, cheap first step. Adds events and tokens without overwhelming you.

    Usually a better fit for a different kind of group — still fine if it sounds fun.

  2. Number 2: Jagged Earth

    Worth it

    Adds: Ten new Spirits, more Adversaries, and parts for up to 6 players. A very big box.

    Fixes: Lets 5 or 6 people play and adds lots of Spirit variety.

    Best value if you play often. Big and more complex, so many get it second.

    Usually a better fit for a different kind of group — still fine if it sounds fun.

  3. Number 3: Feather and Flame

    Worth it

    Adds: Four Spirits, 5 Aspects, 5 Fear cards, 2 Scenarios and 1 Adversary. Collects Promo Packs 1 and 2.

    Fixes: Adds new Spirits without many new rules.

    Can be added any time. Good if you want more Spirits but not more rules.

    Usually a better fit for a different kind of group — still fine if it sounds fun.

  4. Number 4: Nature Incarnate

    Adds: Eight new Spirits and many new Aspects that change older Spirits.

    Get it last. It needs Jagged Earth and has the hardest Spirits.

    Best as a cheaper, gentler way into Spirit Island. If you own the full game, it is mainly five easy Spirits to mix in.

    Plays on its own. Also works with other Spirit Island products.
